About Worth Lewallen
Worth Lewallen is a classically trained violinist whose journey bridges conservatory precision and folk-born fire. Based in South Carolina and touring nationwide, Worth blends a mastery of traditional classical technique with deep roots in bluegrass, jazz, and Celtic music.
With foundation in classical music and early training under his father’s bluegrass band, Worth earned degrees in music education, violin performance, as well as Masters degrees in Violin pedagogy, and Education Administration—developing into a dynamic performer and respected teacher. His discovery of Irish and Scottish traditional music while studying archeology and cultural heritage in Ireland ignited a lifelong passion that now defines his musical voice.
